Bistronomic’s name is a combination of the words bistro, gastronomy and economic. The restaurant serves French-inspired cuisine with seasonable ingredients from regional farms. Appetizers on the brunch menu include chicken liver mousse, housemade country pate and beet salad with truffle oil and goat cheese. For your entrée, try the quiche Lorraine, the confit of red and yellow peppers omelet or the brioche French toast with crème brulee batter. If you’re in the mood for a burger, River Roast’s burger won the Chicago Gourmet Hamburger Hop in 2016 and 2017. Pair your brunch entrée or sandwich with bottomless mimosas for 90 minutes. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and reservations are strongly recommended.
