Michael Dorf, the founder and CEO of the restaurant chain, established the winery in Manhattan (2008) to appease his love for music, wine drinking, and making. Four years later he expanded to Chicago, ushering in a new type of nightlife entertainment to the city. Combining live entertainment from top performers around the world, wine, and a fine dining experience, City Winery is ideal for any occasion. Canvassing around 30,000 square feet, this West Loop location features the main dining room that can seat up to 200 diners, a private barrel room within the dining area, designated for smaller, private parties. The concert hall, which featured an intimate performance from Prince in 2013, is the largest space inside with a full-sized stage and a fully stocked private bar.
