The brewery was built in 1995 and has more than doubled in size since originally built. Goose Island brings you their tasty pints using 32 fermenters, over 15 different yeasts, state-of-the-art filters, centrifuges and a 50 barrel JV Northwest 5 vessel system that brews 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It turns out that making awesome brews is quite the science.
Select from year round, seasonal, and limited release beers. With locations at Fulton Market and Lincoln Park on Clybourn, Goose Island is a staple in Chicago that must be visited!
The taproom does offer cheese and charcuterie plates, and other snacks.
Tours are available on Saturday and Sunday at 1, 3, and 5pm. Tour goers will receive a free pint glass as well as 3 samples. Tours generally last around 45 minutes to an hour. Remember to wear closed toe shoes, that is a must! The tours are first come first serve.
