This Belgian-inspired restaurant has served the Andersonville community for nearly 30 years. What was once a well-known liquor store grew to be a neighborhood favorite featuring approximately 70 beers on tap, 8 fine wines available on draft, a collection of ciders, and other specialty cocktails. In addition to being a communal space for the neighborhood, Hopleaf hosts a series of events throughout the year, ranging from clothing drives and panel discussions to recurring events like Bottle Mondays (bottled beers discounted) and the annual Super Stout Sunday for the Super Bowl. Despite their strict 21+ rule (absolutely no exceptions), Hopleaf does have a heart for the youth. The proceeds from Kegs for Kids, a sponsored event where beer lovers are served from sponsored kegs, are donated to Helen C. Peirce Elementary School.
