With a modern, brightly lit interior, JIAO has a commanding presence while walking down the busy commercial area on Wabash Ave. The inspiration for this new spot can be attributed to its sister restaurant in Chinatown, Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings. JIAO uses premium ingredients, and healthier cooking techniques for its dumplings, which typically are steamed and pan-fried. There are 8 different options to choose from including pork, chicken, beef, lamb, vegetables, shrimp, crab, and truffle. Of course, you can expect limited seasonal specials as well.
