River Roast pairs Chef John Hogan’s brunch with live blues music every weekend. Take in views of the Chicago River while you enjoy elevated tavern fare. Order the housemade charcuturie board to share or the burrata with olive tapenade, figs and prosciutto. For your entrée, try the rabbit and waffles, lamb pastrami or the burger with wagyu, pickled daikon and carrots and shiitake mushroom mayo. If you came for the namesake roasts, choose between the fish, the roast beef, whole chicken and rack of pork, all carved tableside. To drink, order the house bloody mary with the daily skewer. Brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with performances from 12-3 p.m.
